According to urban dictionary, human trafficking is "The recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of a child for the purpose of exploitation." Human trafficking, also referred to as sex trafficking is modern day slavery. Mostly in foreign countries, such as India or Cambodia and it forces young boys and girls into prostuituon. This has been a major issue in the world since the 15th century, when woman were sold for the purpose of sex. The victims involved in this process, lose all of their human rights even their own name.
Inside these brothels, young girls or boys are lined up and bid on by strange men. The younger girls/boys sometimes as young as eight are picked because they are virgins. They are raped, abused and once finished they are returned to the traffickers, lined up back again for the next man. These victims are forced to work long hours, with no rest, little food and no freedom.
Although the victims are promised a better life, with marriage, education and family but these are usually empty promises. The traffickers threaten the children by saying they will take their family and kill them. So many times the victims are to afarid to leave or they end up dying inside the brothel.
