In the book Taken a teenage girl gets abducted and sold to a rich, foreign man but luckily her dad saves her. This kind of thing happens so many times around the world. Many young girls and boys get kidnapped and sexually assaulted and sadly most of them are never saved nor heard of. People are not property and shouldn’t be treated like this at all. They have souls and rights. In Taken the girl was put into a room and tied to the bed, drugged, and raped. This is exactly what happens to the children that are trafficked into brothel. Unlike the girl, many of these children aren’t lucky enough to be found. The girl in Taken was kidnapped just like the victims in human trafficking.
